Hello,

My lovely lovely car (2 seater sports car) is due to be changed in the next few months. OH and I are TTC so I guess I should be looking for something grown up!
what sort of car would you recommend?
I'd like something still fairly sporty, preferably convertible (am I being silly), prob only really consider, Porsche, Audi, BMW, Merc or similar...

Thanks lovelies! xx

Convertibles aren't really pushchair friendly - depends whether your car is the main family car or whether you can chop and change. Friend had a 911 when her youngest was a baby, but she never needed to do more than do light shopping in it, so a Quninny fitted in the boot fine. But she had a Mercedes ML for other occasions.

When ds was small I had a Merc B type - not sporty but a pleasure to drive and dh had a Jag X type, which was a bit more of a pain to fit baby stuff in to.

Audi A5 or BMW 3 series good for practical nice driving cars (with a good spec on them)

We have a reanault scenic which is great for TTC because there is no gear stick or handbreak in the middle. Makes moving around so much easier.

Get a Jaguar XF - no gear stick in it either! Has a very big boot and can fit 5 in quite easily.
