MPV suggestions

Hi, I'm looking for a bigger car and I do like MPVs, specifically them being a little more upright so I don't have to bend down to car seats as much.

I don't know a lot about them, so would like to know people's experiences, which they'd recommend and which to stay clear of.

We don't really need 7 seats, but not adverse to a 5+2 model and a big boot would be handy.

Oh, and if they're good looking, better yet, my husband doesn't want an "ugly" car. Blush Though I appreciate that is very subjective.

Thanks for any help!

Has anyone got any experience with the Mazda 5? I've just looked at a couple and I do like the sliding rear doors.
