Hi,

I am undecided whether to buy a sensor pad, is this a useful tool to have or is it one of thoese products that the companies try to sell that you really do not need. Advice is appreciated.

thanks

We bought the Angelcare system with the sensor pad when we had our first baby. I think that realistically it gives you peace of mind and not much more, which in itself enabled us to sleep more soundly. I remember saying to someone that we had bought one with a sensor pad and they said "why? what can you do if your baby has stopped breathing?" maybe nothing in some circumstances but seeing it tick registering movements was quite reassuring. Although we are using it with our DC2, probably wouldn't have bought another sensor pad one now as I don't think its really necessary. Hope that helps a bit.

Thank you for opinion, its much appreciated. There are so many things to buy at the start so I leave it but like you say if i won't sleep in case of worrying then i think about buying it, I think your right its a peace of mind purchase. Thank you for your response.
