I really didn't think it would work but it's great. Went to check out buggys on Saturday and yeah - it's as good as you all said it was! Put the nearly 4 yr old Lottie in the under bit for a try and as well as her loving it it worked fine. So other than a lack of places to hang shopping, it's great and will coming home with us soon.

Well I for one did try and tell you!!!

I know, and I'm sorry. I said in the middle of the shop, 'Ohhhh no, now I have to go and tell mumsnet they were right all the time'! I just never thought it woujld work with a big kid underneath but it does and it's so much nicer to push than allthe other buggys I tried.

When the baby comes though,he/she will be snug in the bottom and Lottie in the top bit.

I knew it would be perfect for you as when I am in Turkey and go out with my friend who has a very tall 6 year old with CP,we pop him in it and it is great-even though the roads and pavement are so rough.

if you're worried about shopping get a couple of the paniers as well - they attach to the sides and take a surprising amount of shopping.

Or buy a small and very well behaved pack mule to accompany you into town.....

glad you found soemthing suitable i'm still unsure on the E3 for the reasno that once the baby hits 6 months it cant lie flat in the second seat.

Will lottie be able to stay in there till she's 6 ish?

LIZS · 09/10/2005 14:08

hmm Saw one yesterday with an average sized 3 yr old (approx)in it and thought he looked a bit squashed, as the seat seemed narrow. Could have been deceptive as the boy was wearing a padded coat. Can see the other advantages though
