Which Newborn car seat will fit a P reg Golf CL (1997)?

Hi,

I'm trying to find a recommended car seat (group 0) for my newborn. I had my heart set on the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix but it looks like (having checked the Maxi Cosi website) this just fits later models of cars.

Any recommendations or good sources of info would be gratefully received. I'm googled out!

At the time of my little boy being born I also had a golf (L reg).

I was given a silver cross baby system pram and the car seat fitted well.

Although I hated the pram so I sold this and upgraded to a Bugaboo and bought a Maxi Cosi with isofix which was fine, with or without the isofix. I would pop to halfords or the like and get them to fit one so you can check it though x
