dd1 likes playing with meiows ds nintendo DS thingy. i have seen one in pink with a puppy game for 89.99 and am considering it as an xmas pressie.

but dd1 is really into computer games, and does get bored easily, do u think that buying her her own Nintendo DS will take the novelty away of playing it at mieows house? its a lot of money for one item, so am really unsure.

misdee I would get it for her,as for the novelty value at mieows house she will learn more about the games if she has her own re cheats etc and be able to share with mieows children and vice versa how to be a bit competitive and these strategies

Also if they can swap games then the novelty should wear off.

You can link them too Misdee, and the kids can play together

misdee · 08/10/2005 23:38

is 89.99 with the puppy game a good price?

The puppy game is 29.99 on its own. So that is a very good price. Where was that??

Can't you just buy PC games ? My DS loves them & of course you can either get action type ones or eductational games - may be cheaper & less stressful if/when the novelty wears off

misdee · 09/10/2005 21:31

they have pc games, and they do use them. i have decided against it, as she mentioned the barbie erika again, and i think she'd like that more (if i can bloomin well get one that is!)
