dd loves my brother's keyboard and playing on it when we see him. So we are thinking of getting her one of her own for Christmas. She is only 2, so we don't want to get a huge one but want one that has a good sound rather than the ones we have seen in elc or other toy shops which I think sometimes sound a bit tinny. sorry if I have offended anyone who already has one.

So has anyone got any experience in this?

my experience says let her go around to her uncles to play as a treat especially as he has a proper one !!! The awful tinny ones seem to be pretty much the norm and I know when my best friend bought DD, who was nearly 2 last Christmas, one.....we were ready to tear our hair out by 10am !!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN (but then daddy has a keyboard in his studio so she still gets to play on his and mummy doesn't ahve to listen !!!!)
