Do you have one ? Is it worth it ? Could I make one ? Seems very expensive for a bit of nylon to drape over the top, but I'm keen to get a few more years' use out of the playpen. Your opinions please ...

tomps - there's a babyden on ebay at the moment for £50. They're selling the tent as well but i don't know the price. Search under playpens.

I have one that I got at the same time as the baby den. it is great. we don't always have it on, but my DS (2yrs) loves it.
we have also from time to time filled ours with balls to make a mini ball pool. the bigger balls from ELC are better than the ones from toys R us - they are just slightly smaller & can be squshed through the bars.
I goes down brilliantly when I have a coffee morning.
I had tent on for DS bday party. not many kids played in it, but the babies did sleep in it because it was a very sunny day & the tent made a wonderful shade.
hope that helps, but do shop around for the cheapest

You could just drape a blanket over it and call it a tent. My ds's favourite game is 'bed cave' where I lie in bed with my leg in the air supporting the duvet and ds (nearly two) crawls around in it yelling, "I'm in the bedcave!" and "Dark in bedcave!" The most fun you can have lying down IMO

Top Tips, thankyou. Unfortunately she's a bit tall for the blanket draped over the top idea - it just ends up over her instead of above ! Cheers though
