Have any of you got one of these booster seats? The white tray is removeable, and we use it without it & pushed up to the kitchen table.

We have had ours since June 05 and DD (now 2) has been unable to undo the clip for a while. (It's a simple push clip, ((nothing like the clips on highchairs, buggies etc))that at first we struggled with, but has seemed to become laxer over time) I was washing up the other day (in the same room as her, but back was to her) and she undid the clip & climbed onto the table.

The fact that she can undo it is not a problem in itself, as she is never unattended when eating. Although I have taken to putting her reins on her as I can attach these to the chair.

I rang the manufacturers, more to warn them that DD found it so easy to undo the clip. He said it wasn't a common problem, (although, TBH by the tone in his voice it sounded like it was, almost like "not another one"). He said that the clips were tested so rigourously & no faults found. This is only the second complaint and they sell 400 per year.

They have offered to send out new straps and suggested to see how it goes. I have accepted this in the main, but was wondering if any of you have had similar problems.

we have similar (although bought at toys r us so bruins own) and had no probs as such with DS climbing out. The clip is quiote stiff on one side tho which could have somethingto do with it.

Maybe just a phase that ur dd is going thru with the unclipping thing?

I have similair seat but ot sure if it was from argos...its blue and red but everything else is the same. We havent had any problems with it but ds was in it from 6mths until a few weeks ago. He is 2 next week and prefers to sit on a normal chair so dont know if it would still hold him with the strap on.

Thanks for your answers, She does love clipping things up, but with her old highchair & the buggy, she can't undo them as you need to hold & pull.

I just thought that the clips was way to easy to open anyway & that they should fit similar to those of highchair.

As i said, she is never unattended anyway, jsut have to make sure I am always looking in her direction!

Think he may be right then, just a fautlty clip.

Will just keep an extra eye on her until the new straps arrive.

Thanks.
