But can't afford either the space or the cost

I will buy her a really good keyboard - but don't know what to but

Any suggestions?

She is learning from a piano teacher btw - but he likes keyboards.....so it's not a problem for him

You can get keyboards with authentic sound and weighted keys which are brilliant according to dp who has sold his and now wishes he'd kept it!We have a piano too but it is a pain to move etc keyboard so much easier Yamaha and Korg are good

are you absolutely certain you don't have space for a piano?

You could get a reasonable 2nd hand upright piano, for cheaper than you could buy a really good keyboard!

I know I could prob afford a piano, but I'm set to inherit one - when my Nana dies (she's 89 and very frail)

and I know I don't have room for two - one would be really pushing it

if you join freecycle you could probably get a piano for free and then give it away when you inherit your nan's. it does cost abit to get it delivered.
