Bio Oil - anyone used this?

Has anyone used this? It is an oil that you rub in to fade scars like stretchmarks etc. I have dark knees (!) for some bizarre reason and want to see if it will fade them.

It is £9.39 () in Boots and I want to know whether to waste my accumulated points on it.

It's got very good reviews. I haven't used it but a friends wife did on her acne scars and she was really impressed.

I used it on a scar on my knee and it did seem to reduce it slightly. You can also put a few drops in the bath, and it makes your skin lovely and soft! Its vitamin E based, and smells a bit icky, but lasts ages ! HTH

It didn't lighten my scar as such, but made the skin appear and feel alot better, its barely visable now, and I have a lovely soft knee!!
I bought mine from Holland and Barratt it was a sale price of about £7. I use 3 drops every bathtime and still loads left after a year!
try some of the online websites Im sure youll find it cheaper

My local chemists, who is a mum of three, recommended it to me when my bump broke out into a very uncomfortable rash. It cleared the rash up in one day, and also did wonders on a bad cooking burn which was not healing well- no scar at all. I think it smells nice, though it is a bit dear.

I have never used it but my mum does for dry skin more than anything as she is really allergic to so many things and loves it.
