My washine machine has died this morning(after deciding to leak all over the floor!),so I'll need to go out tomorrow to get another.Problem is I don't know whether to go to Comet or Currys and wondered what their aftersales care is like incase we have any problems. Also don't want to spend too much-any recommendations, please?

TIA.

We got ours from Comet about 6 years ago and have no problems, I always find Comet is a lot cheaper than Currys..

comet have to do a price match to currys...other thing you oculd do is look instore then go on thier website as they actually underwrite themselves on there

Ditto with Lizzylou - ours is from comet - no problems.

we got all our kitchen appliances from Curry's and the service was brilliant. We have used the guarentee a couple of times (for the dishwasher) and never had any trouble getting somone out - I assume it would be the same for a washing machine.

got ours from curry's and the after care was fab (only got 1 years warrenty thou) but no worried at all - apart form the bloke plumbed the washer in wrong and water leaked every where

only took a few days for delivery on the washer, we took dishwasher away with us and DH plumbed it in.

Thanks everyone.

Rather than go to the store I've just ordered one online.Comet's delivery charge and machine were slightly cheaper so I've gone with them. They also take the old machine away free of charge.
