I need something to store shoes in tidily.....................

.........downstairs in the hall, underneath where we hang coats. I don't want one of those racks made out of metal poles - ds1 and 2 just dismantle them. Needs to be sturdier. Anyone have any ideas?

IKEA do one which is a sturdy wooden storage thing which you can sit on top of to take your shoes off - it has a matching coat hook/shelf above too.
