Second hand Ipod

I'm thinking of selling my ipod, as I really don't use it much and could do with the cash. Just a quick question really, how much do you think a 20 GB ipod less than 9 months old would fetch either on ebay or the local paper? It's hardly been used and has been in a cover since I got it, so its not marked. I don't want to just give it away IYSWIM, but I don't know what's reasonable to expect. I don't want to put it on ebay if I'll be disappointed.
Thanks
LL

There was a report on watchdog that the batteries stopped holding their charges after 12 months

so were out of warranty and even if they were still within the dates if they had a mark or sctatch on the warranty was not being honoronered
