Birthday present for 4 year old boy

Dd has been invited to a birthday by a boy in her pre school, I am at a loss with boys, had a look in tescos and there was nothing reasonably priced that looked any good.

Any mums of little boys got any ideas. I tend to spend £5-8. Finances being as they are I may have to be closer to the £5 mark.

A light sabre? My DS loves them. M and S do a small one for about £6.

TwinSetAndPearls · 01/10/2005 22:51

ooh a light sabre may be good, he loves to dress up. He came to dd birthday the other day as spiderman.

Girls are so much easier.

A small Playmobil set?

TwinSetAndPearls · 02/10/2005 13:38

Hadn't thought of playmobil. According to dd he is mad on power rangers and spiderman and he likes to jump and shout a lot!
