Help with walking aids

All,

I was wondering if anyone had used any walking aids, they are a bit like baby reins, but are more for helping a baby walk, rather than making sure a toddler doesn't run off. Although I can hold his hands it is doing my back in to say the least. There are three brands I've managed to locate "Moonwalker", "Walking Wings" and "Walk O Long". The reason I ask is that my DS has severe Haemophilia (basically he bruises very easily and can have internal bleeding that needs treating at hospital via intravenous medication)and the more I can do to reduce the number of falls and especially treatments, he has while he is learning to walk with out making him look like the proverbial Michelin man the betterGrin Our place is very small so although we have a baby walker (which he's already grown out of) it is too big for our home, also the doctors don't like anything like baby bouncers as they can cause groin bleeds which are very serious.Sad So was wondering if anyone had used these products or knew of anything else that might help?

Many thanks in advance for help and any ideas.
