Just rang up to query my sky bill as it had a pay per view football match from 5/4/2006.Was asked if we had recently plugged back in the phone after having it disconnected. We had, as we recently had sky+ installed so now have to have connected to phone line for 12 months as part of the contract, we had previously removed from phone line after the initial 12 months were up as it interferred with broadband.
Was told that sky pay per view or box office doesn't get charged to your account unless you have phone connected, seems a bit strange that they will let you order by phoning them up and speaking to them but don't charge until you reconnect phone.
