It arrived at about 11:30am, I had assembled it by 12:30 so took it for a spin, avoiding all muddy puddles.

OMG! it's lovely and lighter and easier to push than the maclaren.

Ds3 promtly fell asleep in it so it's money well spent!

Is it really wide? Looks like a double from the back.

LadyTophamHatt · 28/09/2005 13:29

No, fits through our front door with bags of room.

I think it's all those lovely pockets for all my toot that make it seem wide.

and is it v long? I am after a new one but dh is muttering.

LadyTophamHatt · 28/09/2005 13:31

anyway Olive....are you dissing my new wheels?

OP posts:
bran · 28/09/2005 13:33

It's lovely, I'm glad you're happy with it. Now you need some of these so that you can hang things from the handlebar. Those 3-wheelers are very stable, I've never had my Urban Detour fall backwards when I've taken ds out no matter how much stuff there is hanging off it.

oliveoil · 28/09/2005 13:34

no dissing here!

I have a McClaren (poo) and a Brittax (hefty) AND a Mothercare Double (cumbersome). Am thinking of flogging the lot and getting new one.

LadyTophamHatt · 28/09/2005 13:34

hehehehehehe.

It's exactly a metre long, from front to back wheel so it's not small but I just measured my maclaren and that's 63cm from front to back wheel.

It really is FAB.

Quite long though (said in non-dissing manner).

{envy}

What's it like folded, LTH? Does it fold easily?

Frayedknot · 28/09/2005 13:37

Ohh what's up with my

LadyTophamHatt · 28/09/2005 13:40

frayednot....I have no idea.

I assembled it just in time to take ds2 to nursery and Ds3 has been asleep in it since then!

thanks for that link bran, I was wondering how I'd get the shopping home.
