We plonked our DS on our beanbag the other day and he was really happy, sitting upright so he could burp. we were v close and wouldn't leave him on it alone, we were thinking of getting him a bigger one he coud sit/nap on but aren't sure if it's safe or not. any ideas?

we used to lie DD in a beanbag sometimes, perfectly safe imo, so long as you're supervising.

good that's what i thought- my old job used to use huge beanbags for SN adults, some were epileptic/had breathing problems etc and it wasn't considered a safety issue because they were always supervised.

The baby I nannied for at 10 weeks had a bean bag and we had one for our child but not at 6 weeks. Should be fine as long as someone is always with the baby.
