a good first camera?

hi can anyone recommend a good first camera for DDs age 6 and 8 - pref easy to use but takes good photos?

You should be able to find a 10MP Fuji Finepix for about £50. My DD got a pink one for her 4th birthday and she picked up the basics quickly. She hasn't figured out how to work the zoom yet, but I expect she will eventually.

Hi, thanks. Went with Canon A490 as it had some good reviews. Decided not to bother with the pink one (second DD getting an art set instead).
