Question for Vauxhall Zafira Owners

I have been trawling through archived threads but can't find the answer to my question. We are considering buying one of the new models and want to know if anyone has managed to get 3 car seats in the middle row?

Reason for this question is we have a VW Sharan at the moment and when we go on holiday take the back 2 seats out and have a massive boot. Normal day-to-day driving I would imagine with the Zafira we would have one in the back and one seat folded most of the time. If we can't fit the 3rd seat in the middle we'd have less space for luggage etc when going on holiday.

Our car seats are particularly wide I think. We have a Britax Club Class a Cosatto one (can't remember the name but it's big) and a Graco high back and booster. Long term I don't mind changing the car seats if they will fit in the car. Children are 2, 4 and 5.

Any advice?

Hi Gillian

We have the 54 model of Zafira and our children are 5, 3 and 11 months. In the middle row we have a Britax Eclipse or Freeway stage 2 seat for the baby, then 2 highback booster seats. One is from Argos and the other is a Maxi Cosi Rodi. Baby DS is behind the passenger seat, DD1 is in the middle and DD2 behind the driver. It is a squash and can be hard to get the girls strapped in, but if DD1 goes in first, you can wiggle DD2's seat around while strapping DD1 in.
I have never sat the children in the back seats, but have sat there myself! Usually we are making the most of the big boot.

Hope this makes sense and helps a bit.

Thanks Cerys. That's good to know. It's not something we would do all the time as I said, but we would need to know it was an option!
