Has anyone used ski/snowboard clothes from this shop? They seem reasonable and as ds is going on a one time only trip and we don't know anyone the right size to borrow from I need to buy some stuff. Any thoughts please or any ideas for somewhere else cheap please. Tia.

You'll probably get more answers if you post in the skiing topic - but decathlon are fine and good value. Other places to check out - TK Maxx, Aldi/Lidl/Tchibo (if you time it right), or online www.skiwear4less.com/

We have a lot of decalthlon clothes. Really good stuff and prices are good. If you ski in France, you can spot the kids wearing it! Just check on availability - I tried to buy DS some boots from the London shops this weekend and they don't stock them. They also said they were low on clothes because of the cold weather.

Thanks. We are actually outside the uk but we have just had a store open. I had never heard of them before. In my day it all came from C&A. Lol. I will def check out the website, if they can ship it here, fab, otherwise grandparents will be sending it on.

Ps I did post in skiing after. I didn't know there was basking section. Should have thought about it really. Doh.

We usually buy in France (go there a lot). It is a brilliant shop for "kit" of all types. Cycling, skiing etc.

Def an improvement on C&A (I recall my first skiing holiday c 1984 and looking v uncool!)
