Am looking to hire a car for out trip to Blackpool next week.

Would need it from early Friday morning (30th)- late Saturday evening (1st).

Could probably get away with a smallish car as we won't have much stuff with us but we do need to fit 2 car seats in the back.

Cheapest I found so far was £54, can anyone beat that.

Oh and we are in brum if anyone needs to know that.

Some self drive van hire firms also do cars - may be cheaper than an ordinary car hire one. also don't gforget to add on insurance costs. Is train not feasible ?

Train worked out at over £100 unfortunatly Lizs.

Will try a van place and see what they have. Ta

Have you tried looking in your local paper or the yellow pages? In our area there are a few smaller, local companies who hire out slightly older cars far cheaper than the bigger companies which tend to use new cars.

Good idea, thanks hadn't thought of that.

£54 sounds very good for the weekend. We currently pay £75. Enterprise was always cheapest one for us.
