Can anyone please suggest a sturdy wooden bed for my son? I am looking for a natural wood colour rather then a white one. I bought a white lacquered shaker style bed in one which looks good but which has in a very short time been damaged by people banging into it with a hoover so chunks have come out and the wood has split. I do like cabin beds but all the beds I see tend to have the mattress practically spilling out of the top of the bed and not set into the bed which I don?t think looks very nice. If anyone can find me one of these that does not do this that would be great. Or a wooden bed that is quite sturdy and shaker style (which is too soft). Many thanks
