Why did nobody tell me that returns were at your own cost and they suggest recorded delivery?!?!?!?

Everywhere else I order from is free returns so I just assumed - grrrr.

My re-delivery is free on the exchanges but you have to pay to send the stuff back - I have one return in there as well as a few exchanges - I'm finding the stuff is big! Ds2 is almost 3 and I'm having to send back a 2-3yrs top to get 18-24 months!! And ds1 is 4.5 and he's in 2-3yrs!

They aren't that bloomin small!

Isn't it free returns as well though, if you click through from here.

Gobbledigook · 22/09/2005 14:52

Hey? On the back of the form it says you have to pay and they suggest recorded delivery..

..Ok, it says 'Please take your parcel to your nearest post office - we recommend that you send returns by recorded delivery. Goods are returned to Boden at your own cost. Please always obtain proof of postage when returning a parcel.'

MT - I went through a link that gave me 15% Off and free delivery - does that include returns then?

Oh hang on - on label I've stuck on it says in small letters 'postage to be paid at destination under terms of contract' - so that's cos i went through that same discount link right?

God, you wouldn't think I had a degree would you?

I have just emailed them asking them to stop sending catalogues in the post

I get about 2 a week

I pointed out that I could look online and there was no need and it was a waste of paper.

oh yes as they sid to me, change your email address by logging in as a new customer..
we promise it will integrate and you won't received multiple catalogues-
Horse shit! Rainforests in peril! Once my dh paid for my order on my name with his cc and it gave him awhole new customer number too, so HE gets all the catalogues too!
I've never paid for returns, I keep all the free returns labels and use it for other stuff, like even sale stuff, they've never pegged me for it.
FFS the stuff is expensive enough without two way postage! And there sizing can be so wibbl;y wobbly it varies wildly esp in kid stuff.

bosscat · 23/09/2005 16:48

I get 2 catalogues a week, drives me bonkers!
