mothercare too i think or individual baby shops.

Hazellnut · 22/09/2005 09:22

Mind you, I gave up using ours a while ago as dd learnt to escape from it so don't know if you'd find it THAT useful given your dd is the same age...

mothercare near me don't stock them as apparently they sell out too quick???(Don't get that atr all! Maybe i got a crazy assistant that day)
Hazellnut, that's what i was afraid of! I've probably left it too late then !

LOL at mothercare - of course a shop wouldn't want to sell somethign that sold out quickly - they might make money !!!!!

Don't suppose you can borrow one from someone for a bit ? Or if you find where they sell them, take her in and sit her in it for a bit and see what she does (and if you're thinking of having more children you'll get use from it again - or I think they re-sell really well !)

try to borrow one unless you're having more children -

we bought one for dd at abut 3 months and it was great for about 2/3 months - once she was crawling she just wouldn't stay still in it. It was useful to feed her in though as she wasn't quite sitting up when she started solids.
Even second hand they go for about £20+postage, was going to buy one on e-bay but bought brand new for nearly same price.
hope you find one!

I've got an aqua one in perfect condition, currently put away in it's box until I get round to selling it! You can have it for £15 plus p&p if you're interested. Looking at e-bay most people seem to be charging around £6 for postage - they are quite bulky boxed - or I'm in East Sussex if you're anywhere nearby to pick it up. If you're interested leave me your e-mail address, I don't know how to disable my "no contact" set-up to do CAT.

All i xan say is be CAREFUL.... i know of several babies (about 6 - 8 months) who manage to get out of them (even before they are able to sit unaided and wiggle etc)

Unfortunatley i baby was sitting in it ON the table to have his breakfast.... daddy nipped away for a just a few secs to get 3 year old sister more jam and it was then i wiggled out and off the table head first onto the floor

yes i KNOW he shouldnt have been left, but hes ONLY a small unwiggly 6 month old who cant even sit unaided, and untilt this we didnt even think it would be possible for him to get out!

so DONT use it any place other than the floor (im sure in literature it says suitable for ANY FLAT surface, should say ground level !)
