I would let child decorate it, you can buy special paper with bricks or stone on and mini wallpaper patterened paper for inside.

A very pale pink/purple.......but feel free to ignore me, I have a DS, so I may be living vicarously through you

Ok maybe a DIY job then but it does look nice unpainted, maybe leave it just now and paint it in a year or so when it looks tatty or marked.

I think it would look lovely in mainly soft colours like

Lemon
Apple Green

And just small amounts of dark colours like

Purple
deep blue

Id leave it as it is and maybe let her paint it when shes older

And if you are very arty you could paint things like butterflies on it.

N'ah that is boring

i wouldnt paint it. i was decorate it using dolls house wallpapers. but then my kids have a brilliant dolls house with 70's style paper atm, as i havent re-decorataed it. i will do it once they have outgrown it.

what about staining and varnishing it instead?
