board game for 4 year old.

My nephew is just getting into 'games' such as ludo, snakes and ladders. I want to get him something along this line for a present. Can you give me suggestions of more of the same, for his age?

Orchard Toys do a good range. My 4 year old likes 'Bus Stop' and also the Noddy game.

second the Orchard Toys games. Also Ravensberger do a good range of first games.

what age is connect 4 for? its quite an easy one to understand I think.

Think Connect 4 may be beyond a 4yo tactically but they'd love making patterns. dd has also enjoyed Guess Who for over a year now and is just 4 ! Also the variations on frustartion are fun - we have a Thomas the Tank Engine version

My dd2 could do connect 4 when she was 3, I think it's quite simple.

Hungry Hippos! or Pop up Pirate

DD (3yo) has a giant inflatable snakes and ladders which she enjoys. She also has Hungry Hippos, Pop up Dragon, and Orchard Toy's Tummy Ache

Another great tactical game is no room at the zoo.

DD is 6 and she has loved playing Guess Who since she was 4. She has also enjoyed all the Orchard Toys games especially Shopping List.

DS loves Carriboo and also Ghostly Galleon

Candyland I thought was very poor although DS likes it.
