angelcare monitor-anyone have one?

hi, i bought it a year and half ago from argos.

it is really bad for hissing and is realy annoying. anyone know how i can fix it or at least reduce the hissing.

On obvious question but have you tried switching from A to B? I haven't had this problem with it but mine is 4 years old! Maybe it's near something electronic like the telly?
