Magnetic Drawing Board Recommendations?

Dses have got a cheapy Tescos magnetic doodle board that they both adore and get a lot of fun out of. However, we've been through about 3 of them now because they don't seem to be that robust. Also we find that the quality of the lines produced/length of the pencil string/effectiveness of the erase bar isn't that great.

I was wondering whether to spend a bit more money and get a really decent magnetic drawing board thing for them - maybe for Christmas as a shared gift, or maybe just when this current one breaks - whichever comes first . I don't want lots of fancy features particularly, but I would like it to be robust and fairly good quality. Ds1 is 4 and ds2 is 16 months, so preferably no majorly small bits (or at least small bits that can be put away and only come out when ds1 is playing with it).

Any recommendations?

We bought two of these last year for dst. Didn't think they would last that long but they are still going strong and get used at least once a week. Dst particularly enjoy making patterns with the stamps or writing letters.

For ds2 I would hide the stamps as they may be mouth size but I think they should be okay, see what you think. I know it is a bit cheap and cheerful but it might do as an in-between until you buy a really expensive one for ds1's Christmas!

ds has the thomas the tank engine one and it seems to be a really good one. It has lasted ages and the screen clears better than most.

My charges have got one (each) in Tesco.... its about £4... it seems as good as the magna doodle just a little smaller... would highly recommend!
