Is it one of the struts that support it that is broken?

southeastastra · 10/11/2010 19:17

think so, it slams down and won't stay up

Here is one answer to a google question;

"Its because one or both of the gas struts that support the tail gate when its open has lost pressure, you have to get them replaced they cannot be repaired."

found some online, (hopefully) one last bump to see if anyone else has done themselves
