wooden trick with trailer

weeliebug

sand/playtable

I'm in such a dilemma.

The trike would be good because we haven't got any indoor ride-on things, he'd love the trailor bit too.

The weelie bug is just fab! our neighbours little girl has one as he(and ds1+2) loves it, I know he's a little old for it but all 3 DS's would like it. Yes even ds1 who's 6!

Both of these would be excellent because when we move the house has wooden floors so they'll have a smooth run too.

The sand table is because the sandpit we have just causes too much mess. A little table in the garden would be more managable.

Help!

Then there was the wooden train set table that merlot suggested from ebay......which has now sold out

My dd would love the sand, and the trick or is it truch!! She will be 2 in Jan, when's his birthday?

I like the trike and trailer!

I love all of them! My dd got the sand/water table at age 2 & still enjoys it now (age 4.5), but it is pretty seasonal. I would probably go for the wooden truck & trailer as it serves 2 purposes - a ride on + fun putting things in the trailer - great for role play.

Do their grandparents, aunties/uncles etc ask you for ideas for presents....so you could suggest the 2 that you don't end up buying? We're always asked to do a birthday list for close relatives as a lot of the time they don't have a clue what to buy!

Prefer the trike and trailer but bug looks lovely too. Don't like sand/water tables - too much room for mixing and mess, best done at playgroup imho ! Doubt it would be any less messy than a basic sandpit.

I've just reserved the trike and trailor.

I love wooden toys and just know my "baby" will loveit.

OMG...he's going to be 2, how on earth has that happened?

I don't like sand/water playing at home either.

Love the wooden trike but wood be wary of how much longer a 2 year old will want to play with one, so that leaves the bug but that's quite expensive. Still if more than one child will get some use out of it, it might end up a bargain!

Just got home!

God, being a trian driver wife doesn't do me any good. I got us on the wrong train coming home so instead of a 10 minutes max journey I'd managed to get us ona fast train to London Vistoria

Added another hour to our jouney home

The trike is lovely and goes to an age 3 so hopefully we'll get a good lot of use from it.
