Ford S-Max

I'm going to pick up a 59 Plate S-max tomorrow. I'm very excited.

My one concern is the very back seats seem small for a childs car seat or booster.

Does anyone know if you can fit either on them or if there is a brand that is good for the purpose.

The S-Max is available with a wide range of engines. However, families who demand copious power for the school run will be most attracted to the 2.5-litre petrol. This smooth engine produces 216bhp and propels the S-Max to 60mph in 7.4 seconds. Top speed is 143mph which is extraordinary for a seven-seater with a boot the size of Wales. Drivers who favour economy over speed can specify the 123bhp 1.8-litre diesel. This frugal unit hits 60mph in 11 seconds and returns a combined average of 45mpg.
