The standard size buggy cosytoes that I have won't fit my 16 months old's long legs now. I remember a while ago being send information for a warm, sleeping bag, quilted cosy toes, but for the life of me I can't remember which company makes it - I've looked on the web, but have had no luck .

Can anyone help me out please? The weather's getting quite a lot chillier now.

Hope someone will know what I'm going on about!

Thanks!!!

hunkermunker · 16/09/2005 17:05

Try bumpto3.com

AuntyQuated · 16/09/2005 17:06

i made one that you are more than welcome to. it is blue check on the outside and cosy fleece inside. ds used it until he was almost 3 so there is plenty of leg room

BROWNY · 16/09/2005 17:14

Oh, AuntyQuated that's so kind of you - how clever of you too! I'd be very grateful and I'm sure my little ds would be too. Thank you ever so much. I'll CAT you now

AuntyQuated - I need to make one for ds (because I'm too tight to buy one!) - did you use a pattern? If not how did you go about it?

AuntyQuated · 16/09/2005 21:15

no i couldn't find a pattern miaou.

i bought the fabric from a factory shop and the lady in there helped me work it out. not only did it have to be long but it had to be wider too. i made it like a box. i will try and take some pics of it tomorrow and see if that can help you.
i was really plaesed with it and took it back to show the lady. i managed to get a big chunky zip from there too.

if you email me your addy i can send the pics.

Then I just need to find fabric online!!!

IlanaK · 16/09/2005 21:39

There is a great one by a company called STayput. They are fleece and alovely and use a clever snap design to fit to any buggy. Because of being able to adjust them, they fit up to a really old age like 4 years old. I love mine and highly recommend it. I think their website is something like www.stayput.co.uk

BROWNY · 17/09/2005 10:29

Auntyquated, I've sent you an e-mail

Thanks LlanaK, I'll pass the information on to all the mums who have very long legged toddlers in my Mums and Toddler Group!

it's in the washer.

browny, i have your email and i've replied.

miaou, no email yet. i guess you'll be able to but the fabric from ebay. would you be after any particular colour? i paid less than a fiver for all the fleece, wadding and quilted check. see what you can find on ebay and if not give me a shout.
but maybe if this one doesn't fit browny's buggy she could send it on.

BROWNY · 18/09/2005 12:47
