travel system with a backwards facing pushchair part

Is there such a thing? I want to be able to see my baby and for him to see me when I push him along, both in the car seat and in the pushchair. All I've seen so far have the pushchair part facing forwards, and that's not what I want.

Can anyone help?

bebe lola - can face both ways

I think all of the bebe confort ones do. Also the bugaboo frog/chameleon/gecko, the firstwheels city elite (cheaper version of bugaboo), the mutsy urban rider, some of the (bigger)Mamas & Papas ones - where you buy a seperate chassis & then add the seat unit. I'm also planning on a forward/rear facing pushchair when I have another baby, but not sure what I would choose yet!

I have a maxi-cosi first car seat that clips on to the maxi-taxi pushchair facing me. Very light weight. I also clips onto the Quinney pushchairs.
I have a bebe confort pushchair that can be front facing or facing towards me. Heavier pushchair - but has lasted since 1997!!!

I have a britax italian collection practicale travel system. The car seat fixes on facing you and the seat unit can be put on either way. you also have the option of a carry cot too. Really easy to push and manouevre (sp?) Bit bulky getting in/out of car but we have been pleased with it.

With Quinny's you can buy a Dreami carrycot attachment so baby can lie flat and look back at you on most models. Also the Buzz and Freestyle 3/4 have reversible pushchair seats. Silver Cross 3in 1's are also reversible.

Bugaboo Frog goes both ways for car seat, push chair and carrycot. Bit pricey mind!

I have a Britax Practicale that does this here
I only turned the pushchair bit round to face outwards when DS2 started kicking DS1 on the buggy board!
I've found it very solid and reliable for the last nearly 4 years (2 babies) Stilluse it every day for DS2 who is 2.

soory - that link doesn't take you to the page thought it would but you can click on practicale and it will get you there!

I used the Britax Practicale too, and always had dd facing me until she got so nosy and interested that she wanted to face the way she was going. You can have it forward or rear facing, whichever suits you best.

If you fancy buying 2nd hand,I have a britax practicale for sale - chassis, pushchair and rock a tot car seat with rain cover for £90 ONO. (cost around £300 new) All in very good condition. It is in dark blue with darker blue teddies on it. We live in Swest London, if you are interested?
