Anyone got or seen Mothercare Kyoto nursery furniture?

Have seen this in their current catalogue (p121) and like the look of it. Phoned store to see if they had it in for me to go and look at, but was advised that because it's home delivery only, none of the stores have it, so it's tough luck if I want to see it first!

So just wondering if anyone's got it and whether it's nice in the flesh, and feels 'well made'?

As a sub-question, does the wardrobe look like it'll be big enough if I have the dresser and the undercot drawer too? First baby on the way, so not really sure how much room stuff takes up!

Looks nice. Just opened my catalogue. It looks fine. As long as you are only having one baby and not twins.

lol! Yes, definitely just the one. Thought I'd get some gentle practice in and then go for twins next time .

nothing prepares you for twins Tabs.... but I'll leave you let you practise. lol

You don't need as much as equipment as you think, but then you learn that after having one.

All the best with the pregnancy and the birth. That first time is so special (I have 5 incl twins).

Wow - 5 must be such hard work, but so rewarding too I imagine. I'd have liked 4, but it's taken 5 years (to due date) to make 1, so I'll need to speed up a bit if I'm to fit that many in!!

I liked the look of this when expecting dd (about 9 months or so ago). I rang mothercare customer services and they told me where I could see it. IIRC it was their bigger stores - reading and romford were 2 ?! But it had only just come out then. I didn't go for it in the end as I found a dresser with a rail in it which I thought would do for hanging stuff and didn't want the bulk of a wardrobe in dd's room as its v. small...

Ooh - that's interesting Hazellnut - perhaps I'll give them another call then. Quite happy to travel a bit to see it, as have a week off soon that we're going to spend looking at stuff.
