£28 for a two pack of PJs???? They are for sleeping in fgs! I'm all for the odd boden top (if they are such good quality they can be handed down etc) but honestly, £28 for PJs for small children - the phrase 'more money than sense' springs to mind!

How much?!

cheapie pjs here

PPH, how nice, you lucky thing! Not that DS2 hasn't been lovely but I would have liked another little girl...

fqueenzebra · 14/09/2005 10:41

How many pairs of PJs per child do any of you have?

ScummyMummy · 14/09/2005 10:41

Congrats, pph.

jampots · 14/09/2005 10:45

I would prefer to buy better quality pjs for my children as they do keep their shape and colour. I have bought cheapy pjs which fade and look crap v quickly

TracyK · 14/09/2005 10:49

I don't think that £14 per pair of PJ's is over the top. It's expensive - but not madly. I bought a pair of White Company pj's for ds in their sale for £11 and they are the softest material ever and wash nicely too.
TK Maxx do some nice pj's too - tho only a couple of size options available so it's just your luck if you find what you like in the right size.

princesspeahead · 14/09/2005 11:26

thank you janh scummy and pecka.... pecka go for it! you know you want to...

Mine have about 5 pairs each I think. DD may have 4. DS1 is still slightly unreliable at night so gets through 2 bottoms per night sometimes (down to about once a fortnight or more now, fingers crossed it will stop soon!).

Bozza · 14/09/2005 11:48

Mine usually have 4 pairs - 2 packs of 2. But I bought DS a pair of expensive (for me) Spiderman pjs for his birthday in Feb that are still OK so will probably only buy two pairs this winter giving a total of 3.. DD will need 4 because of the way she spreads the weetabix around. So that will cost me £10 for DD and probably as much for DS's two pairs because the mega cheap packs only seem to go up to age 4.

Well I got a set of 2 pjs for dd in Dunnes for the massive price of 2 Euro Not sure you can go wrong at that price either. And they are wearing really well and look good. In fact shes even been out in the bottoms during the day as dp didnt know that they were pjs and wnated to know what was the difference between then and a pair of legging/tracksuit type trousers .

cutekids · 14/09/2005 11:54

Be Wise is brill for cheap pjs!

Milge · 14/09/2005 22:56

I have bought the fairy pj's for dd and they are very cute and last for ages. DD is 3 and still in 18-24m size. Not too sure about the boys - prefer the little white company again v generously sized and last for ages
