Mid height beds.......from what age ??

Was thinking of getting Ds one and in the Argos book they say from 3 years, but I was just wondering if anyone had actually used one from that young ?

It would be great for Ds's room as he could put all his large toys underneath.

Ds will be 3 in December and is a good climber so i'm not wirried about him getting up and down, more about him standing up on it and falling off.

My dd went into hers at 3 years four months and we've had no problems.

I am intending on getting one for DS, he was 3 in April. I'm just looking for the right one to fit into his bedroom.

I think he would probably be fine, even if he fell off tbh as he falls off most things and doesn't even blink LOL

My mom said there was a reduced one on the Argos site i think.

We bought DS a mid height one when he got to around 4 but put a sturdy toy box next to it so he could climb in & out OK

Its an Ikea one that you can change the height

Boh DSs had theirs from about 2 1/2. Only DS2 has ever fallen off - he decided to climb out over the side rather than down the ladder. Once and once only!!

ds was almost 4 when we put his bed up and never had any problems except when dd could climb and bounce on it from 18 months . We haven't done dd's yet as she is just night trained and sometimes needs to get out in a hurry !

From 3.5 here. No problems at all. Only one fall (not serious) from messing about, but none since.
