I just can't seem to keep one for more than 6 months or is that as long as any lasts

I assume the black bits of finish are harmless?

We have an enameld black one from Wilkinsons - dead cheap but very sturdy and no flaking.

thank you ..I can see why my expectations aren't met..I thought 7.99 was expensive

I will look through those..is it the white your mum has ?

I've never heard of Wilkinsons except on mn so I guess there isn't one in this region

yeah the white 1 if u think how much u spend buying 1 every few months ur worth spending a bit more and getting a good 1 you can get them cheaper just look around hardware type stores

dont need non-stick for roasting. get a normal metal one

nell12 · 11/09/2005 21:44

get an enamel one, they retain the heat better (so make ace roast potatoes) don't stick, they go in the dishwasher and your children will be using it in 50 yrs time... worth every penny!
