Small Automatic Diesel

I'm looking for a small diesel turbo car which has to be automatic (I only took an automatic driving test and am way too preggers and hormonal and lazy to even consider up-grading to a manual license! Sod that...)

Other than a VW Polo, I'm stumped. Any ideas? Ta!

Are you talking buying used or new?

You could check out autotrader, you can search for automatics only.

What car is good for valuations and reviews.

Ta! I'm talking used - maybe a year or two old, no more. Thanks very much for those suggestions!

There seems to be a good few Mitsubushi Colts around with an automatic gearbox, but a brief skim of the What Car reviews mentions poor safety kit, I would imagine that would put you off, but it might be worth investigating further. You can check out the saftey performance on the NCAP site.

Or the Toyota Yaris, although it's a lot pricier, particularly when you're looking at diesels.

Does it have to be a diesel? We've spent the last few weeks searching for a small diesel for DH, for the economy, but have opted to go for petrol instead. You get a lot more for your money and, on a small car, you can still get great economy.

I've just got a Merc A class auto diesel (have smashed left hand so it no longer works well) and am v pleased with it. Roomy, v easy to drive, and great safety feature
