Help - Our dishwasher won't stop rinsing!

Our dishwasher is failing to drain and dry and seems to be stuck in rinse mode. I've opened it up and removed the plates, etc. but the level of water at the bottom won't drain off. I've had to switch it off and leave it.
Anyone else had this?

yes!!!

we left it (and unplugged it for a few hours) put it back on again and it seemd to sort itself out.

Hope your sorts itself out as well...

ours was very 'confused' (wouldnt do anything) so leaving it was lal we could do.... 4 hours later it had fixed itself!

Have you checked the filters , and under the grates at the bottom for blockages ? Also could the outlet be blocked. Otherwise perhaps the switch has failed.

Thanks to you both. I suspect that it's electrical. How depressing!

Ours has just done exactly this and packed up completely two weeks later :-(
