Buggy that can be steered easily with one hand

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I have a 1 year old and a toddler. The toddler refuses to get in my Phil and Ted's double and wants to walk but insists on holding my hand all the time. Therefore want to buy a single buggy that is easy to steer with one hand. Any ideas?

I can push my techno xt with one hand easily enough :)

Phil and Ted's sport very easily pushed with one hand.

Thanks. I've got a Phil & Teds sport already but I want to go for something lighter and smaller. I'll have a look at the techno xt.

any other ideas?

Stokke xplory - steers like a dream

Techno XT is hard with one hand once they get a bit bigger and heavier.

The Mamas and Papas Luna has a single handle and is really easy to steer one-handed - any buggy with a single handle should be OK although they don't fold down as small.

BJCM

Micralite superlite or fastfold

Nipper 360 if you're wanting something with air tyres. Also good as the toddler can sit on the front bit if they get tired.

Maclaren pushchairs are good for this. I could push my DD one handed until she stopped using a buggy at 3. I had a Techno XLR.

Brilliant. Thanks for the ideas. I shall start my testing of buggies.

agree with alfbetty about the maclaren. Single handle better I think. I've got a bjcm double and a mac xt, it's hard to steer the mac xt now that they're bigger. I'd get a bjcm in your position. The best I've had for this was mountain buggy urban, dream to push one handed. I have the double now (dts) and it's still easy!

I am with all the BJCM people. They are a dream to push. Grin

Bjcm, or icandy cherry if you want a rear facer. Cherry even has a handle on each side which my toddler loves holding onto.
