One child, and just 2 pushchairs - a fab, costly all singing/dancing 3 wheeler, and a lightweight Macaren Volo for the car and holidays.

I had a 2in1 for DS which lasted me till he was 2. He has CP and couldn't walk far so my mum pick me up a little stroller for a few quid at the car boot. DD1 used the 2in1 for about 2 weeks when it broke I brought a daytripper which pulled to one side and had to go back to the cataloge, which I swopped for a Chicco, and the wheel bent after 6 months. I had a double tamdam which I couldn't get on with so sold it, and brought a Maclaern double buggy.
DS was then given a Major buggy from the wheelchair service. I also had a double major which was HUGE and was given back to the wheelchair service.
I brought a lovely 2nd hand pram for DD2 and a 2nd hand maclaern for DD1, which I recently sold. I had a side-by-side three wheeled buggy which also was sold recently because I wanted a three wheeled tamdem. I have a Graco for DD2 in the big car and a Chicco in the little car. DS and DD1 both have Major buggies.
I made DD2 (22months) walk when possible but DS,5 and DD1,3 both have CP and they have to have their buggies

My coachbuilt pram has lasted four children. Bought it new 28yrs ago and it still has years of life in it. My original Maclaren buggy finally gave up the ghost after 15 yrs and three children. I also had one of the very first Maclaren combined pram/pushchairs, which I used for two children then sold as I didn't think I'd need it again. I wish I'd kept it as it was so light and easy to use. For dd2 I had an M&P 2in1 for the car, and a Maclaren buggy for holidays and along with the big pram they are all still stored somewhere around the house!

We have 2 kids and no car and only have 5 compared to your collection, Sx2. I think it's your money to spend as you see fit, but MAD MAD MAD, yes you are, a wee bit. I'm an anorexic about money, though, so maybe not the right person to compare with.

We are struggling to get 4yo DS to walk places, too, and he was walking at 9 months, I think it's because we walk everywhere that my kids have no interest in all that effort, themselves.
