Outlook Express on Windows ME

Yet another computer problem in the cadbury household, I'm afraid

Last week, dh tried to send my folks an email with a n attatchment that was a bit of film from the web cam - Kids wavig at grandparents type of thing. Well, it wouldn't go and was obviously too large a file. It took ages to be able to delete it too. Now that we have, we haven't been able to send any emails through outlook express without first rebooting the pc. And today, it has started being funny picking up emails from the spam filter too. It flashes the screen up for a split second and then doesn't actually continue with it. I guess that the programme is corrypted now and we need to uninstall and then reinstall outlook express. I have already exported our inbox to outlook and have saved the address book to the desktop and my documnets. However, I am having trouble finding where I can download OUtlook Express 6 from on the internet and I don't want to uninstall unless I can reinstall.

If you have got this far in reading my problems then thankyou, and do you have any ideas where I can get it from?

Do you still have the ME CD? I think Outlook would have originally been installed as part of the Windows set up, so you might be able to reinstall from that.

Not sure I have. I think it was 98 upgraded to ME. My dad gave us the pc when he got a new one.
It must be aroiund somewhere.

I think you can download outlook express from the microsoft website www.microsoft.com. Go to downloads then internet. I downloaded internet explorer from there and I'm pretty sure they have outlook express too.

Yes, I looked at those. They all seem to be patches for it or Internet Explorer. Will have to search further
