Can I clean my laptop screen with babywipes....?

If not, what else could I try?
Don't want to kill it, just make it a wee bit less covered in muck!

don't think so! it will go all smeary

you can buy screen cleaning wipes

or use a damp cloth that has been VERY WELL wrung out!

Sob, I don't have any proper screen wipes. I can't get any until the weekend and I need them now! I am taking my laptop to a client this evening and it is all yucky!
Will try the damp cloth...

but make sure it isn't damp, i.e. merely the slightest hint of dampness
