ABC Buggy needed

Hi

I am a childminder and after researching all the triple buggies on the market, I am convinced that the ABC double buggy with reclining toddler seat is the best option for me with 2 x 18 month old children (one is mine), and soon to take on a 20 month old child.

Following on from the previous topic, I emailed the company, who sent the following:

Thankyou for your email.

ABC (NZ) no longer handles direct sales ~ and now restrict our activities to product design & manufacture etc.

Gobubbago www.gobubbago.com.au is the exclusive online shopping mall for all ABC sales and marketing.

Secure On-line ordering in the currency of choice is available for prompt & efficient delivery .

Gobubbago delivers world wide in association with Adventure Buggy Company Ltd.

[email protected] will happily assist further upon request.

Thankyou, and all the very best.

Kindest regards,

Phil Green

Does anyone have one I can purchase secondhand or can anyone recommend another product as I think £900 plus import charges is going to be unaffordable.

Cheers :-)

Hi turrialbana I was lucky and got the ABC double with reclining toddler seat direct just before they stopped shipping direct last year.

I have:

Double buggy in Navy/Red
Reclining Toddler seat in Navy
Toddler foot muff - black
Newborn cosies in charcoal
Sun cover
Rain covers
Wind protector

We actually only used it 3 times, because DD1 has SN and I found that I couldn't keep her safe while out with both other children.

There are two things to bring to your attention, though. There is a small tear in the foam on the handle, where it got pinched in a car door - the foam is all intact, but has a slight slit approximately 10-12 mm long.

The buggy has also been stored in a garage, and has (very) slight mildew on the rear pockets on the main seats. It is very minor, and will likely scrub away nicely, but it does make an otherwise pristine buggy 'used', which is a shame, because apart from that it really is pristine.

You obviously know the going price of the buggy, I still wince when I think of the price we paid Smile.

If you are interested, I would want around £600 for it, and you would have to arrange carriage, although I would be happy to package it up securely for collection by courier or in person.

I live in Hampshire.

Wow - sounds great, and I am definitely very interested. My husband and I have planned to sit down Friday night and make a decision because it's a lot of money to spend even used, but as far as I can see is the best option on the market for three!!

I would be happy to arrange carriage. :o

Great! Well there is no pressure at all, so just take your time, and if you are interested, let me know. Smile

Hi I'm really interested I'm desperate for one of these. I have 3 children under 3 now the youngest being 12 weeks old. My fiancée left me when I was pregnant with the 3rd, I've now had to move out of his house which now means we are 20mins walk(my speed not child speed) for my eldest boys nursery. I don't drive either so I really need a way of transporting all three of the safely. Please contact me on 07738 154502 I'm desperate! Thanks in advance.

Hi Lougle
Sorry for delay to reply, we have been away for the weekend, with no internet access.
I had a bit of a disaster when measuring up for the ABC - it doesn't fit through our hall/front door!!! So looks like I will have to go for another option....sounds like the above lady needs it, so please feel free to sell to her.
Best wishes :)

Hi Lougle, I'm a friend of wheredidmyfeetgo.

She's really keen to buy your buggy, but has limited internet access so I said I'd get in contact with you. Please can you CAT me or her if the buggy's still available please? Thank you!
