Bugaboo in black cabs?

How best to proceed? I'm in London and haven't yet ventured out in a cab but need to go to John Lewis! Any suggestions? I think the buggy can go right into the cab and then pull the handbrake? Hopefully the driver will help me lift it in and out? Any tips? I've got it set up with the bassinet for four week old at the moment. Thanks in advance!

I've been in cabs with mine and other prams. Of all sorts. Just reassure the driver you've fixed the brakes. Where I've heard a preferenece stated they like the child to face backwards (so a head on collide or shunt pushes their backs into their prams rather than causing whiplash).

Some will take you. Some won't. In my epxerience about a two thirds chance they will. Good luck.

ps slings every time mind you - and have JL deliver...what you save on cabs can be sent onto you?

Do you have an infant car seat that would fit on the chassis ?

wht's wrong with the tube? It isn't great, but it is a lot cheaper and I've managed it with a twins int heir buggy and two others. You jsut have to ask for help if you need it, or stand lookign perplexed and usually a friendly passerby helps.
