We had this car seat & had no problems at all with it - & we always got loads of comments about how funky it was...

A friend of mine used this seat and found it very good, with no problems.

babies like black and white

If your baby is anything like my last two then it will fall asleep whenever in the car anyway!

I've just got this seat for no. 3 and I love it. Its got a really handy space at the back to store a spare nappy, instructions etc and the fabric is a lovely velour - so much better than the old seat we used to have. Just need the baby to put in it now (sigh!).....

We've got this one - must admit I was horrified at first as DH went out to get the car seat and came home with this one!! But it is great, DS seems to love it (but still haven't managed to get the cover off to wash it!!).

the same car seat -maxi-cosi citi - also comes in red and grey. (that's the one i have) Less velvety to the touch than the zebra-print one, it is still v comfy.

If there was a problem with the pattern, you could always put a sheet over before you put the baby in, and pull the straps over the top. Then most of the pattern will be covered. But I wouldn't worry, black and white is supposed to be good for babies. Might be a problem if it was luminous green!!
