Ds birthday is in october and im really struggling to find him some suitable toys to get him. He isnt walking yet although he is cruising around the furniture quite confidently. The only thing ive got him is a rocking horse which i know he likes from playgroup.I was thinking of getting him a ride on toy although i thought i would save that for xmas as he would probably be walking and be able to use it properly then. What did you gat your baby for their first birthday any suggestions plz....

My Dd2 1st birthday last week. I bought her a wheely bug Just fantastic Voted best toy in Australia .Dd2 loves it

I am glad I didn't get dd much, as she is now 19 months, and a lot would have been wasted. The thing she has played with the most has been the Tomy eggs thing in an eggbox!! And it was so cheap. The best advice I can give is don't get carried away.

We got one of these trikes and he still loves it. Can make it bigger as they grow and also you can disengage the steering and pedals so they can be pushed along easily.
