I took dd to lush today to choose some soap and stuff for my Mum's birthday tomorrow as a little extra. We got a nice honey soap and then I suddenly realised - does soap have gluten in it??
Mum has coeliacs and all kinds of things have made her ill because we didn 't realise they had gluten in ie lipstick.

Have I messed up?!

The ingredients are listed here ... it doesn't look as if it has anything in it that contains gluten.

I had a look through those to double check but I'm not sure exactly what ingredients gluten disguises itself as!! I'm thinking it'll be ok - do you know what gluten ingredients are wwb? I'm new to all this!

You only find gluten in things containing wheat, rye, barley and oats.

and lipstick lol

Lipstick contains all kinds of crap so I'm not surprised that they use wheat and so on as a bulking agent.

I know it's a nightmare but at least Lush lists all of their ingredients, so it should be a bit easier to avoid.

Just a thought - why don't you ring their Customer Services people and ask them? They're ever so helpful.
